Stay safe on the slopes with the AvaGage. This pocket-sized tool measures approximate avalanche danger with 3 levels of approximate danger and a grid for examining snow crystals, while also measuring the slope of terrain for hikers and skiers.
The grooved base aligns with a ski or trekking pole for sighting, and fits easily in a pocket, or on a keychain. Can also be permanently affixed to ski/trekking pole with zip-ties (not included). Use the snow crystal grids on the back to measure snow crystal size and further gauge avalanche danger. Great 2-in-1 product that is designed to keep you safe at all levels of altitude!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Avalanches can and do occur over a wide range of slope angles, and are influenced by several factors other than angular slope. Do not travel in avalanche areas without prior avalanche safety training, and always be alert to avalanche danger and travel accordingly.
